Sports and Recreation

Wilderness lovers rejoice in the natural wonders of Holly Springs. It’s no wonder Hernando Desoto decided to rest here during his travels, or that the settlers named the town after the abundant natural springs and holly found throughout the area. Whether it’s camping in our state or national parks, trail blazing at Fitch Farms Galena Plantation, challenging your buddies to a round of golf, bird watching at Strawberry Plains Audubon Center, or attending their annual Hummingbird Migration Celebration in September, Holly Springs has just what your inner outdoorsman is looking for.  Learn more!
